Privacy Policy

BillCreate is built on a simple principle: your business data belongs to you. This policy explains what we collect, how we store it, and what we never do.

1. What data BillCreate stores

BillCreate stores the following data only on your device:

Sensitive data (phone number and UPI ID) is stored using your device's secure encrypted keychain (Android Keystore / iOS Secure Enclave). These values are never written to plain storage and are never transmitted anywhere.

3. Camera and photo library

BillCreate requests access to your photo library only if you choose to upload a custom UPI QR code image in Settings. The image is copied to the app's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.

Camera access may be requested on some devices for the same purpose. We do not scan or process any other images from your library or camera.

4. Sharing bills

When you tap Share on a bill, BillCreate generates an image or PDF on your device and opens your phone's standard share sheet. You choose which app to send it to (WhatsApp, SMS, email, etc.). BillCreate has no involvement in or knowledge of that transmission.

5. Optional cloud backup

BillCreate includes an optional backup feature that can sync your data to a private Supabase database if you choose to configure it. This feature is off by default and requires you to supply your own database credentials. If you do not configure it, no data ever leaves your device.

6. Your right to delete

You can permanently delete all your data at any time: go to Settings → Delete Account & Data. This removes all bills, customer records, and profile information from your device immediately and irreversibly.

7. Children

BillCreate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
